I hope that everyone is having a fabulous week. As you may have seen, I recently went to a few exciting events in the Hampton’s.
I had the opportunity to meet so many incredible people and a common question that I was asked by many was, “What foundation do you use?” I was so surprised because I have tried so many and although I love a ton of them the one, I am currently using is the most affordable and budget friendly of all. I love it and have been using it all summer.
This popular question coupled with the DM’s I have been getting about various products I use in terms of beauty prompted me to give you guys the skinny of what’s currently my routine and in my makeup bag right now.
I always start with a clean, cleansed and toned face because it really sets you up for success for a flawless application. Then, I apply a serum, moisturizer and primer. You can find these products in my recent skincare post. Prepping your skin, I feel is more important than the actual makeup itself.
Next, I use a beauty blender to apply Wet n Wild Photo Focus Matte Liquid Foundation. For a contour concealer, I use NYX Photo Finish Can’t Stop Won’t Stop. For my blush/bronzer, I use NARS Casino it gives a beautiful defined look without looking too streaky or cakey. If it is really hot out, I will use a setting powder to combat humidity I love Laura Mercier’s right now in Honey.
For my eyes, I like to do a combination of bronze and tans I’m into this Too Face’s Natural Eye’s Eyeshadow right now, it is one I have bought over and over for the past 12 years, and it never disappoints. I line my lower line with MAC’s Eye Kohl in Teddy, currently I love Maybelline’s Liquid Liner. I finish everything off with Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara, I promise it will make your lashes look like falsies.
I like to also lightly line my lips to give them a little pop, I will finish it off either with a clear gloss or nude lipstick. My go to is Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk or for a more budget friendly option NYX Peekaboo Neutral.
Lately, I have been using a brow pencil as well because I do feel brows frame your face, I’m currently loving, Billion Dollar Brows Universal Eyebrows.
