My Favorite East End Restaurants- Starting with LUNCH, Amagansett & Southampton

Hi everybody,

I hope that you all had a beautiful and amazing week.  It pains me to write this next statement, I cannot believe that Summer 2022 is coming to a wrap. It truly pains me to write that! This has been such a beautiful Summer, living here on Long Island we especially cherish the Summer’s because it is the most gorgeous time of year (at least in my opinion) I am sure many people would agree with me.

In honor of Summer, I would like to honor my top 3 restaurants & eateries of Montauk that we love to visit, dine at, have a drink etc. I am going to do one a post, so I don’t bore you to death with all the yummy details. Restaurant one is here keep posted for more to follow.

Firstly, comes LUNCH, Lobster Roll. As of recently, they have two locations. The original OG one is in Amagansett and a newer location nestled in Southampton. Both locations are fab however, I am partial to the Amagansett one for it’s classic feel of their indoor and outdoor seating, their floral and of course the infamous sign. I can say I have eaten at both, and they are equally delicious, divine with exceptional service. My husband and I will not go out East without stopping there. The positive attribute of b the Southampton location is that it is open year-round, and you can enjoy that taste of Summer whenever the craving arises.  I can’t go there without having a Mountaukila Margarita, this year I discovered their Spicy Dragon Fruit Margaritas, and they are incredible. If Spicy isn’t your thing the Classic will not disappoint. The last time we were there, I noticed a Blood Orange one that I plan to try our next excursion.  Many people will ask what my favorite thing is to get to eat there. Everything is truly delightful. Of course, you cannot go wrong with a Lobster Roll. They offer cold and hot. My hubby is partial to the cold, and I am partial to the hot. They also have a fabulous fish and chips. The small appetizer portion is enough for me for a meal. Other hot items are the stuffed shrimp, the fried flounder sandwich, the broiled flounder and if you are in the mood for an appetizer, the fried calamari are fabulous, sometimes they have puffer fish and chips too that you absolutely want to try.  Needless to say, I have never had a bad meal or experience, I can confidently say that anything you get there will be divine. If you guys have any questions I am here to answer! FYI they DO NOT take reservations so get there early for when you’re hungry. Tip- when they open there are already cars lining up. Have a beautiful, blessed, happy weekend everyone. Thank you for reading God bless! <3
