Southwest Cheese Fondue

Hi guys ,

This fondue is oh so yummy! It’s delicious with tortilla chips and crusty bread. But you can dip whatever you like. Pictured in the recipe photo are also my homemade buffalo wings. I will be posting the recipe for that later this week. But I hope you guys enjoy ! Let me know what you think 🥰

 

 

1 tablespoon unsalted or salted butter your choice

 

1 tablespoon of pepper

 

Salt is optional because you’re getting a lot from the cheese and peppers

 

1 clove garlic, grated 

 

One 15-ounce can fire-roasted tomatoes, very well drained 

 

2 chipotles in adobo, minced 

 

16 ounces extra sharp cheddar cheese shredded

 

8oz shredded pepper jack cheese 

 

1/2 cup whole milk 

 

1 tablespoon of cornstarch

 

Directions

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, until softened, about 1 minutes be careful not to overcook the garlic will get bitter
  • .Add the tomatoes and chipotle and cook, stirring, until slightly dried out, about 1 minute.
  • Add the cheeses and milk and heat at a bare simmer, stirring, until melted. Add the cornstarch stir well.
  • Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately with your favorite items to dip with
